Bigot? Is this the best you can do is name call? A bigot is defined as a "a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from his own". What do you call a person who loves gays as fully human individuals, but who is straight and is also tolerant of differing opinions. That would be me. Do I have some firm convictions based on my world view? Yes I do, but I am certainly not a bigot. I have been married for 35 years to one woman and we have four children, all tolerant of gays. It is too easy to just label someone/anyone who disagrees' with you a bigot. I have learned over the years that in far too many cases, gays are afraid of straights who attend church or are Christians and Christians are afraid of gays. This would be less true in the younger generation. But please don't label any one who does not share your world view with regards to gay marriage a bigot. It actually turns you into one yourself.
